About the Conference

The 1st International Conference on Research in Sonorities - Poderes do Som is an initiative of the Study Group on Images, Sonorities and Technologies (GEIST), formed by researchers from the institutions UFSC, UFES, IFRS, UFRGS, UNISINOS and UFF. The proposal is to promote and update discussions about sound in different countries and its intersections with a variety of areas of knowledge, expanding the scope of the field of Sound Studies in Brazil, in dialogue with foreign institutions and researchers._cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
